Ian Cox was admitted in July 1973 became a Partner in August 1974 and is now the Managing Partner. He has wide experience in Private Client work but now specialises in Residential Conveyancing with some Commercial Conveyancing.
Simon Booth was admitted in December 1974 becoming a Partner in 1980. He has wide experience in Private Client work also but now specialises again in Residential Conveyancing with some Commercial Conveyancing.
Christopher Bailey was admitted in July 1979 and became a Partner in April 1983. He has attained Higher Rights of Advocacy and specialises in all aspects of Criminal Litigation including prosecuting for the Benefits Agency.
The conveyancing department is headed by Ian Cox and Simon Booth who have practiced in this for more than 35 years. They are ably supported by Rachel Spence, Andrea Nailor and Gerard Davis who have been with the firm for many years and who have a wealth of experience and knowledge in this field.
The probate department led by Linda Goodridge, a well known Legal Executive in the city, who has attained fellowship status. Having worked in the legal sector for 30 years she is eminently qualified to assist clients in this area.
The Personal Injury department is headed by Richard Paremain who qualified in 1990. A member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and a former Woodlands school pupil he has expert knowledge and experience of all aspects of injury claims.
The litigation department includes civil and criminal matters. Christopher Bailey is widely experienced in these areas of law, having attained higher rights of audience status as well as being an accredited duty solicitor. He is ably assisted by Monica Leape who has been with the firm for many years.
